For some reason i feel that the interaction between the member is better now without their leader. Am sure Jay did a great job as the leader on his time but if you compare this show to 2pm show they are different. The members different personalites stand out more, as suposed to here were their actions seen to revolved around Jay’s…Am i the only one who thinks like this?
Probably. Maybe they’re just more comfortable expressing themselves now or aren’t as stiff in front of the cameras.
I do not agree with you. I think when Jay is with them, it is much for funnier and they seem comfortable. I think that when Jay is there or not 2pm is express their personalty the same way with Jay. Everything is not revolved with Jay, because he is also trying to express himself too.

I agree wholeheartedly. I didn’t get into kpop until a few months ago and 2pm was one of the first groups I liked. I didn’t know they used to have 7 members until a few weeks after I discovered them and watching clips of them back when they were 7 was extremely different. Whenever Jay was around, it seemed more like “Jay and the boys” than 2pm. Jay is a star and he overshadowed a lot of the other members, whether he meant to or not. I like 2pm how they are now, they seem so much more comfortable and they each have a distinct personality. Back in these days members such as Junho could be absent and you wouldn’t even notice. Now they all have the chance to shine and Jay has the spotlight to himself like he was always meant to have.
That being said, I wish they would all be friends in the future. They obviously had a lot of fun together back then and it’s just sad to think they aren’t even on speaking terms. However, both are doing fine now and I like 2pm better than when they had Jay. I feel like fans who think otherwise are really just fans of Jay and not 2pm as a whole…
Definitely agree with you. I’ve been a fan of 2pm since they debuted and Jay definitely shines. That doesn’t mean Jay hogs it all to himself, but his personality and swag is too big to be confined to a group without overshadowing other team members. Jay was so chill in front of the camera and it was for easy him to show his personality while the others where still a bit awkward. In the earlier shows, you could tell that other members couldn’t freely express themselves in fear that things would get awkward and since everything was already fun with Jay leading the show, things seemed to stay that way.
I wish they would be friends again though. The friendship 2pm shared with Jay, especially Woo and Taec can definitely be seen, through fancams and shows. Them being friends doesn’t mean that Jay has to go back to the group. I hope fans realize that because I think that’s one of the reasons they don’t contact each other; to avoid scandals and more negative criticism.
I love Jay going solo because he definitely has a different beat/genre/style to his music that he would never be able to express wholeheartedly when in a group.
Nowadays, each member of 2pm has a definite “role” or “personality”. They’re probably more comfortable expressing themselves now since they’re more variety-show-ready compared to Wild Bunny era. I’m so glad Junsu is shining brighter than ever and his funny personality is being appreciated.
That’s a bit rude. I like 2PM now, but I still liked them back then. I didn’t even like Jay at all, but I was still a fan of them. To say that Jay is the only reason why 2PM was liked at all back when he was still apart of them is just kind of stupid. Yes, he did have a personality that meant he was more ‘out there’ than the rest of 2PM, but so is Lee Joon from MBLAQ, Taemin from SHINee, Niel from TeenTop etc… That’s like saying you’d prefer all those groups without that member. Just for 2PM to be to your preference, one of the members has to go through a difficult ordeal and be shamed in front of his entire country so that the rest of them can just stand out more?
Better now or not, saying you prefer 2PM without Jay is really rude. Shouldn’t you like a band for their music and not just how they are on variety shows? You’re all just overreacting, as if 2PM were under tyranny from Jay. I can understand what you mean, but you’re just reasoning everything in such a wrong way. They probably do not act like they do on variety shows in real life. So stop acting as though Jay was some sort of disease or illness that meant no one could really be themselves in 2PM. You’re forgetting that they were only 1 year into their debut when Jay had to leave. They would have been exactly the same if Jay hadn’t debuted with them in the first place.
Well, you’re absolutely ridiculous. You completely put words into other people’s mouths. No one ever said that the reason 2PM was liked was because of Jay. No one said they didn’t like the 2PM back then. No one said that Jay needed to be shamed in front of his entire country for the rest of the members to shine. No one said they didn’t like the group for their variety show skills and not their music. Above all, NOBODY ever implied that Jay was a “disease” that caused the entire group to suffer. If anyone’s overreacting, it’s you.
The previous posters merely said that Jay happened to out-shine the group. They were not blaming him for it, it was just a statement – which I agree with. It’s common fact that in a group of friends, if one is louder, bigger, and livelier than the rest, then they will stand out more. Some may be able to keep up with it, but some aren’t always able to. Which is what the poster stated. This happens for ALL GROUPS, and the poster did not in ANY WAY mention that it ONLY happened in 2PM. This is a page for 2PM, so they stuck to the topic. The poster also said that they still liked 2PM and Jay as people, for their music, and for their variety. There was no mention of still liking them for purely superficial reasons. About Jay going through public shame… It was a pity. It really was. But no one said it was necessary for 2PM to be a closer knit group. They simply said that 2PM improved without being out-shined (and before you jump my throat too, I am not in any way blaming Jay; I do not think he purposely did this. It was just his personality) by a member that was meant to be solo. As for preferring 2PM without Jay… completely their prerogative. It is not rude, it is just a personal taste.
Your last point? Perfectly valid. That could have been the case with them having just debuted. Unfortunately, your entire post was silly and ridiculous, so I found it very difficult to take you seriously. Try not to be blinded with anger next time and try to properly reply to people without taking their words and completely changing them to how they suit you.
well, i guess 2pm nowdays are great. but they’re so much happier when they have jay between them. i like 2pm with jay or not. i know jay looks like he’s the only star and the other 6 were just like *i’m sorry* jay’s backups. but now that jay has left 2pm and things going much better. the point is, no matter if you’re a jwalkers (sorry if i typed it wrong) or a hottest, well, they’ve ever been in one group. they’ve once be a family. so let’s just forget the past and go forward. things goes better. 2pm shines in their own ways, and so do jay. and i agreed with your last sentences, tomobabo. for the antis who made jay resigning from 2pm, why do you need to do that ? i know you did it breaking 2pm, but look now, they’ve done such a marvelous things and they still stands even when the leader resign. they’re doing better and better. SATISFIED NOW ?

am not 100% sure, but if I remember right I. there was this talk I heard on the radio.
it said that some Fan/Antis am not sure which one, checked on Jay Park’s past.
He had this old Myspace account which he didn’t delete, it was about his rants to his friends about his life in Korea about how bad it was and other stuff which am not too sure.
Wow, this didnt decrease 2pm’s standards, THis may be partially the reason i fell more into love with 2pm (: hehe 2pm foreves, Jaybeom
